Our Mission at Four Legged Friends

Four Legged Friends is a charity that helps the most needy abused, abandoned or sick animals from small rescue groups around the State of New Mexico.

Often these small shelters simply do not have enough room to keep the dogs and oftentimes there is a plea for temporary foster homes until a permanent home can be found. Sometimes no foster home is offered and Four Legged Friends will help in any way it can depending on funds available to save these poor babies from euthanasia.

The rate of euthanasia is very high in New Mexico. Sometimes animals are lucky enough to get transported up to Colorado for a second chance. It is so sad that many are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Many have been abused, chained up outside with no food or water, many are simply strays that have been abandoned in the desert or dumped by the side of the road.

Four Legged Friends is raising money for the emergency cases to help support these small rescue groups.
